Not 'just' fishing - connecting OBC members
Fishing and boating is how most OBCer's actively unwind and find joy in life. There's research about to how valuable it is for mental health.
Mental health awareness week starts 6 October, and for the month of October, we're encouraging members to CONNECT and try a new experience.
There are plenty of ways to get involved:
- Link up with a member offering spots for crew or guests on their boat
- Invite someone to join you on your boat
- Volunteer to take others out on your boat
- Put your hand up to crew for another member
PARTICIPATE
1. BOATS AVAILABLE TO TAKE CREW/GUESTS
- Check that the skipper's boating plans fit with you
- Contact them and make the arrangements
- Check back here for updates - we may get more skippers offering to take out crew
- Trips are always weather permitting, at the skipper's discretion
