OUTLINE FOR THE DAY (21 February)
6am onwards - Check-in
Collect your free breakfast snack, goody bag and competition code from the clubroom. Hopefully we'll have a coffee cart onsite too.
You can leave from the OBC as early as 5am. Your goody bag can be collected from the OBC's office the day before or when you get back. The competition code will be emailed to the skippers before the competition starts.
2pm - Cutoff for competition catches to be uploaded/entered
3pm - Prizegiving in the clubroom. Anglers need to be there to receive a prize.
1-5pm - Bar open in clubroom
1-4pm - Food truck, entertainment, kids activities
COMPETITION INFORMATION
- It is a measure tournament and fish will not be weighed. This allows fish to be released if the angler chooses. Unless specified, prizes are for the longest fish.
- Ensure there is an official measure onboard. These can be purchased from the OBC office or from 6am on competition day.
- All anglers need to be registered prior to the competition starting. Entries close Tuesday 17 February.
- The competition will use a fishing competition app to record catches. Instructions will be provided in advance and assistance provided when needed.
- If the weather is unsuitable, the rain date is Sunday 22 February
- Draft COMPETITION RULES & GUIDELINES. A final version will be provided prior to the competition.
