The session will be hands-on and interactive, giving children the chance to get up close to a range of marine artefacts such as shark jaws, turtle shells and other biofacts that they can safely touch and explore.
We'll also dispel some common myths about New Zealand marine animals and look at the amazing adaptations that help them survive in their unique ocean habitats.
Suitable for 6-10 year olds.
The educational session starts at 2pm and will go for approximately one hour.
A light afternoon tea will be provided for the children afterwards. There will also be colouring in and some games.
OBC members and non-members are welcome. Please register online HERE.
