Mid-winter Fishing Competition

We're running a fun competition and to get members' feedback using the SnapCatch competition app and fish measures.

SnapCatch has up-to-date technology that identifies the type o fish and makes entering your fish into competitions really easy. That's what we'd like your feedback on!

 

The competition

  • No cost to enter; friends and family are welcome too.

  • Each boat receives a free SnapCatch measure, valued at $25. To get this, you must take your boat out on competition day and try to catch a fish.

  • Lunch - free sausage sizzle at the club.

  • OBC's bar will be open for purchases.

     

How it works

  • Register online here (Humanitix website).

    • Skippers can register their crew also, or they can register themselves.

  • Download the SnapCatch app and register with this.

    • Important - please use the same email for registering here and for the Snapcatch app.

  • Collect your free fish measure from OBC's office from 8am on the morning of the competition (or by prior arrangement).

  • Have fun out fishing and record your catch using the SnapCatch measure and app.

  • We'll have a SnapCatch expert on-hand to help us with any questions.

  • If the weather is unfishable, we'll reschedule to better day
