OBC FUN FAMILY FISHING COMPETITION 2010

The Annual OBC Family Fishing Competition took place on Saturday 6th March 2010.  This is the biggest event on the Club Calendar and is well supported by our excellent sponsors who continually amaze the organising group and members with the donated prizes that they provide.  OBC members are asked to support these sponsors in turn.  Without Sponsors there would be no competition.   The children were well catered for with prizes sponsored by Culley Plumbing.  For the 2010 competition Mark Culley arranged a Travel Voucher Prize for those member's children who forwarded photos of fish caught during the year up to 1st March.  All photos received that complied with the rules went into a draw which was announced on the big day. 

The winner of the 2010 Travel Voucher to the value of $2500 went to Nathan de Kriek.  (Nathan has since written to Mark Culley advising he is going to see Australia Zoo with his family.)

A variety of beverages and food was provided.  An inflatable bouncy castle for the 'Under 5's' and the Adrenalin Run for the 'Over 5's" was arranged.  With the kids well supervised and wearing off their excess energy, parents were able to sit back, relax and enjoy the wonderful afternoon.  Again our MC Extraordinaire "Capt Swish" Bruce Duncan will do a fabulous job and ensure nothing is overlooked.
