The Outboard Boating Club of Auckland welcomes applications for membership, and offers the following to recreational boating members:
Boat launching from the Club's 15 all-weather ramps
Use of the facilities at the Clubhouse and Marina
Use of parking facilities for boat and trailer while away at sea
A monthly magazine "The Outboarder" containing information about the Club and matters relevant to those with boats
A welcome to attend the members meetings, as well as the many social, recreational and boating activities run by the Club'
Discounts negotiated with supporting companies for a variety of products

New Members Nights
are held monthly excluding January for new members to familiarise themselves with the OBC'
A boat inspection
must be completed and passed on the acceptance of membership before the new member's vessel can launch/retrieve on the Club ramps'
Attend a
Member's General Meeting
on the completion of the boat inspection' New members are invited to an informal get-together with the Committee prior to the commencement of the Member's General Meeting. Members will receive their pennants and keycards at the completion of their boat inspection
Members are expected to abide by the
Bylaws
and
Constitution
of the Club, and take an active interest in the wide variety of the Club's affairs'
